It's crazy, just in our blog on the DETECTION report on the data leak at British Airways reported and now get back a confirmation!

The world's largest hotel chain "Marriott" was attacked by hackers (click)

Even with this recently leaked data leak at the hotel giant Marriott over a longer period of time (in the press release the period from early September to mid-November) sensitive customer data was stolen.

Our advice: bring your logs in a SIEM system, also your SAP Security Audit Log (SAL).

But the incredible thing is, the unauthorized access has existed since 2014!

As the company itself announces personal data such as names, e-mail addresses, addresses, passport numbers, dates of birth and the period of residence have been lost. It was not excluded that credit card data were also looted. Although these are encrypted, but probably also the files required for decryption have been stolen!

If you want to increase your SAP security or determine whether you may have been harmed by an attack with our SAP Insight Services, you will quickly learn the truth!
